A Walk to Remember
I have shared about this on this blog in a devotional as well under the title “Open Hands Versus Clenched Hands”. This clip needs a bit of context…as I shared in the devotional, I went on a walk with a long-time mentor. Those of you who know me know that I am not a big talker…I usually end up listening in conversations rather than talking. But this time….I had a lot to say. , I poured out my heart regarding the good/bad/ugly that I was facing in life. He listened for about a mile. It was finally his turn to talk and he said something like, “Chuck, every morning we have a decision to make…we can go through life with open hands or we can go through life with clenched hands….your hands seem clenched right now”. I knew exactly what he meant. Open hands=trust, surrender, joy. Clenched hands=anxiety, control, anger. It was truly a “walk to remember”. In this clip I referenced that “walk to remember” but I also shared about a “walk to anticipate”. I hope you enjoy the clip.
