Wait on the Lord

I want to be the kind of man who trusts God IN the valley and IN the place of uncertainty…who waits on the Lord and trusts in his promise joyfully even when I don't know what his plan is. Sure…once God makes it clear what his plan is it will be easy and good to look back in retrospect and praise God for providing. But the REAL test is this...will you praise God and trust him while in the waiting rooms of life?

The last time I helped lead worship from the piano we sang this song…it asks a profound yet simple question...why wouldn't you trust God in the waiting rooms when you have tasted of his goodness so many times in the past? Isaiah said that waiting actually strengthens us! "Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength...they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
