My Life Partner

I’m so thankful for my partner in life and ministry. Melanie, whose mother died when she was 16 and her funeral was the first in our new sanctuary all the way back in 1986, leaned into that grief and led Griefshare groups for others who have experienced tremendous loss. Melanie led Project AngelTree for several years. Over our years in ministry, she has led Bible studies, sang in the choir, been a youth group leader, a Little Wics (girls ministry) leader, a Sunday School teacher, and helped me with premarital counseling of engaged couples which we dearly love doing together! Melanie has led mission trips to Happy Life Children's Home in Kenya which she looks forward to doing again soon! And I will never forget the years of her leading the stage crew for the dramatic musicals we did at church. Today, I honor Melanie and thank her for being by my side through the best of times and the worst of times. Melanie is dearly loved by many and is an amazing pastor’s wife.
